The main part of the house is known to date back as far as the 14th Century and possibly earlier. The huge back-to-back inglenooks in the drawing room and kitchen were probably added in the 16th Century with further modernizations up to the present day.
The house is in a quiet and secluded position and is approached down a long, private lane. Together with the converted 16th century flint barn, it is set in three acres of garden with lovely views across farmland and opened countryside.
